I was in Tasmania for about 9 months altogether. I was in Hobart for 6 in the south and Devonport for 3 months on the north side of the island. Tasmania is way less diverse than the mainland, hence all the jokes about inbreeding.
Tasmania is a hidden gem to visit, lots of stuff to do as a tourist but not overly crowded and touristy.
