I work with a group of locals while I am over in Scotland and I quickly learned that the Rangers v Celtic rivalry makes BYU v Utah look tame. The group I work with has fans of both teams.

I quickly learned that I would alienate some of the folks I work with if I chose to root for either of the teams. So I declared myself a St Mirren fan. I went to Celtic Stadium as a St Mirren fan and sat in the visitor seats. I even wore a St Mirren beanie and scarf.

I am going back soon, but there aren’t any St. Mirren @ Rangers games while I am there.
