If those are towns and not people, it’s kind of useless. Much of the west is
not habitable, but there are lots of people in Denver, Phoenix, SLC, Vegas, Seattle. 80% of Utah is empty from a town perspective, but a booming population.

Its still accurate. ~80% of US lives in CT/ET time zones, 14% in PT, 6% in MT
