I was 12. Zia Cougar, and his younger brother,
were at our home. Zia was quite close to my oldest brother, 14 years my senior, so they spent time at my home. We got so excited we did our own final AP poll projections after the game. Zia’s younger brother predicted undefeated and a #1 ranking for BYU that very day. I can remember it clearly.
