When he was going through a tough time financially in his life I tried to connect him with some job opportunities. I knew a casting agent in SLC who was looking for extras for a couple of low budget zombie movies as I remember. I knew Michael really needed work so I sent him to see her. This was the beginning of his movie and commercial "career." Which didn't amount to much but it did get him in some film projects going on in the Utah area. Apparently the casting agent liked him and got him some work here and there. Enough for an IMBD profile.

He lived in those apartments up by the Y for quite awhile so he could be close to campus and easily make it to games. BYU sports was his main and just about only love for years. He drove an old blue car that had some sort of Y license plates, can't remember what they were.

I was in on the GameStop and AMC run to the Moon he was on also. That whole thing is a fun story but too long and involved other people to tell on here. It was so great what with him being so poor and struggling financially for years that he got his Uber thing going and then lucked out on the AMC thing which make him a lot of bucks quick.

Mike used the proceeds from selling some of the AMC stock to buy the blue C8 Corvette which he of course had to share on CB. He didn't get many chances to "live it up" but that was one of the highlights of his life.

There is so much and so many stories about Michael. As most know, there were some epic ones on CB. I'm very sad to see him go so soon. He'll be a great BYU fan in a higher stadium.
