Big Ten. We are near or at a tipping point socially and politically in this country and regardless of what happens one thing is for sure. The more University's dig their heels into a world of social Marxist ideology the more it hurts the future of their money making sports programs. Sure we see "representatives" in sports media touting the company line, however it isn't there that the destruction occurs, but in the school yard. Recruiting takes a hit because eventually your local market is raising generations that are more worried about microaggressions and toxic masculinity.
Someone tagged earlier an article about a liberal woman who can't find a masculine man who isn't conservative. When these arrogant self indulgent ivory tower mannerisms suffocate the town square of free speech and critical thinking we will have theta males who might be able to run ten miles and kick butt in a hot yoga class (yes I envy those who can run ten miles and do hot yoga), but team sports where it's all about dominating your opponent yeah....not a chance.
This is the long view. Many will grouse and freak out and rent sack cloth, but less than ten years later we will be revisiting the chessboard that is college football realignment. Big XII marketwise has more in common with the SEC and it is those markets that imo will keep the game alive and well for quite some time.
The other option is we get completely consumed by this ideology and well it won't matter anyway because watching football will have become boring or even worse...a freak show combining the worst elements of episodes of ink master, project runway and a sketchy bod mod expo combined with some adapted field event where everybody gets points for tossing rings into a barrel
