I don’t have much experience with Delta, admittedly. Every option with them takes us through Atlanta first
Which, unless I’m going to Atlanta, sucks.
In the last year I’ve flown SW multiple times, American twice, United, Alaska, and JetBlue. Haven’t had any delays with Southwest, one trip on American was smooth, but the others have all either been delayed or other issues. On Alaska my seat bottom slid forward and back about 4” and my coworkers bag got lost.

Everyone bags on Southwest, but I swear every time I fly another “nicer” airline I have delays or other issues.

If you regularly fly first class with Delta then there is no comparison with other U.S based airlines…
