Based on their Out of Conference results recently I didn't see how they get any
wins in a real conference like the Big 12.
Without a weak PAC 12 artificially propping them up (supported by biased PAC homers in the media) they are a middling MWC team at best.
Their only out of conference FBS win in ages was last year against a very down , rebuilding SDSU that beat them the year before.
They would absolutely struggle in the Big 12.
