It's a classic switch. If you don't long for the days when keyboards "felt good" to type on, then it's not worth the
money.

There are various types of switches and o-rings you can add to the switches to change the feel. But basically mechanical keyboards include feedback and/or depression resistance to the key. It makes an awesome typing experience. I prefer browns at work (quieter and slightly faster) and the traditional clicky blues at home for the comfort.

If you type a lot and "miss the old days", mechanical is the way to go.
