In fact the Big12 may be able to try and use renegotiation (for more money) as a reason to entice the pac teams to join, especially those with more value. A portion of the exit fees by Texas and Oklahoma could also potentially be used as an entrance fee to entice them, but I’d think that’s only be for the biggest two.

I’ve been skeptical that the pac teams would defect, but my feelings are shifting with some of the newest news. ESPN and Fox probably prefer the better brands to join the Big12 at this point. It probably comes down to whether the pac teams that have the option value money and exposure enough to overcome their liberal beliefs and pride.
