I'm confused at what you are arguing. It seems like you are saying BYU wouldn't recruit a high 4* out of state player like Conover? I hate to brake it to you, they did land Conover. Are you suggesting they don't go for talent like Zach Wilson? I hate to brake it to you, they did land Wilson! If you are saying BYU should focus and only go after athletes that are open about not wanting to play for BYU, which Leavitt is, why would they settle for him? You should set your sights a little higher and push for BYU to only go for 5* athletes that Bama is going all out for, BYU might have a better chance with them since they don't have as much ill will towards BYU as Leavitt does.
