No relation. Know portions of the family moderately well- very nice family but know enough to know there is plenty of BYU support to be had despite his bro. However, this is a kid that would have to be recruited and isn’t just clamoring to come to BYU like many. Kid has options.

I just follow high level Oregon prep football and see BYU not even come to the table on kids every year recently that they would be fighting with Utah for if they played in the SLC valley. And many times (although not necessarily this case they may be looking for an LDS experience for college since they haven’t had it in HS. Clear BYU advantage. Maybe same in other states, not sure.

Clune has been the coach responsible for the area the last few years and he’s been to some of the top HS’s but very sparingly and has produced no fruit. We’ve seen how the defensive recruiting has gone…Maybe with the change up’s in staff we’ll see a bit more activity. Here’s to hoping 👍 Go cougs!
