This has been the Utah staple for decades now. It wasn't until Urban Meyer came along that he kind of broke this mold... but even then... there still is no tradition to hang their hat upon. It's a decent program, but when you have to create articles like this... it's proof that Utah is not a national brand of any kind... they are a brand inside of Utah and Utah alone, and even then they are still not THEE program in Utah. So Furlong is just trying to construct a bit of a platform on USC's coattails for Utah to ride this week... that's all that article is. Win or lose... Utah still won't be anything close to a program that USC is.
