Here's some real numbers on a 2019 Tesla 3 from last week
Bought the car at a salvage auction last week for about $11k. Bought all the parts to repair it for around $4k. Even after paying the labor to repair the car and the $900 for the certification test at Tesla (for superchargers) the total cost of the car will still be under $20k. That car will easily have a value over $30k. It's got the full self-driving package, long range battery and just 14k miles. That's the way to save a ton on a tesla.

My son bought a rebuilt 2019 Model 3 almost 2 years ago for about $32k (already fixed - full self-driving and long range). He's driven it for 2 years and just recently the value finally dropped below what he paid for it. It's held it's value very well and much better than most clean title ICE cars.

I actually have a 2018 Rebuilt Model 3 on my lot right now from a client. It's a Dual Motor (AWD) with the long range battery and just 16k miles. Even in BYU blue with white interior.
