My wife was color guard. She'd be excited to sit down and watch it with me.
My biggest problem would be dealing with her thinking I love this stuff and wanting me to watch more marching band and color guard with her.
And I'm OK watching some marching band and guard. But I can only handle so much.

I just feel bad that someone who clearly has spent A LOT of time mastering a skill, will shortly have zero outlet
