Except you have to use the + and - and (). This is my daughter’s sixth grade

Math question. I’ve tried all I can think of for 20 minutes. Given the parameters of having to use everything once, and not introducing anything else into the equation, I haven’t been able to do it.

I turned to CB, hoping one of you knows more than I.

Yes. Meaning you have to have either 1^3 or 2^3 or 3^3

Right. So 27, then take away the 2 (i.e. make 27 into 7) then add 1. Equals 8. Easy.
