By getting checked every few years

If you get checked and you have it, then it isn’t preventable.

In the same way I can prevent skin cancer by getting a sketchy mole removed.

Actually it's exactly the same. Precancerous polyps are common.
SalmonOfCapistrano
8/4/22 1:49pm
So you recommend a colonoscopy “every few years”?

Actually it's the American Cancer society that recommends it every few years

Is every 10 years the same as every “few years”? Lol no.
Virginia Ute
8/4/22 2:44pm
Yes. 10 is a few. So is 5, which is recommended for many people
SalmonOfCapistrano

Um, colonoscopy doesn't prevent cancer. The bowel prep and camera doesn't alter the genetics. An argument can be made
