Um, colonoscopy doesn't prevent cancer. The bowel prep and camera doesn't alter the genetics. An argument can be made
For different types of polyps, but even then, the data is pointing more towards less invasive methods for low risk patients, with an idea that a lot of these low risk polyps probably could just stay in the colon, but they come out simply due to the colonoscopy. FIT is probably just ask good, and you keep the polyps.
