It does provide value because there are still large TV markets in the West
Doogal McCougar

My initial thought is that is really elitist

Big 12 still looks to be the better, more competitive, more stable option

Also, the Pac10 is land-locked and has no way to expand to save itself.

If the TV $$ is the same, P10 should just add Boise & SDSU and stay put.

I think the pac should stay at 10 and do a partnership with the ACC. I don't

It was going to be a few million advantage for the PAC when they had USC and UCLA.

The question isn’t what would Oregon make in the PAC compared to the XII schools

Good question. I think you have a great argument they are better in the Big12

Somebody is feeding him crap. How can every PAC school be worth an extra $10M

I think it's the result of us previously comparing apples to Oranges

This is correct, and numbers reported aren't official. But par value makes sense

It is tough to compare but you know WA and Oregon are not likely to commit to anything long-term with B1G hopes in their

Yeah, that threatened lack of stability with Oregon/Washington is clearly the biggest issue

Big12 tv deal doesn’t include tier 3 rights either, right…hence longhorn network
caYman
7/5/22 2:59pm
Correct, but the $42M estimated Big 12 only has $22M coming from Tier1/Tier2

Nah, it is fine. I fully expect the Big12 to be adding teams quickly.Pac is done
