Bannack is fun.
It is a ghost town and the first territorial capital of Montana. It is a state park that is well-maintained. Lots of history and plenty of old buildings that kids can run around in and explore. It’s about 45 minutes off of I-15 just a little ways south of Dillon.

Kalispell/Whitefish/Glacier area is really neat. Kind of far from most places, so I don't know if a weekend trip will
