One of my best friends growing up was a huge Ute fan. He's the nicest guy
I've ever met. Super respectful to others.
Also, having gone to the U, I got to know a ton of great people there, many are avid fans. Obviously there were also a lot of jerks, which I assume happens everywhere.
Of course I've also run into some really obnoxious, disrespectful Ute fans, but mostly it's not while I was at the school, or if I was at a sporting event.
