Easy to validate. Yes. 2020 got to some of their heads. Under Covid rules,
very few players on the entire team were out of eligibility, but we had record numbers on offense and defense try for NFL. The offensive players were more successful pulling that off and the offense was loaded with talent to absorb the losses. QB. Hall and Tomney both returned with Conover nipping at their heels. RB. Allgeier and Katoa both returned. WR. Hardly missed the former walk-on that left and made a roster - Dax Milne. He was great. But Romney, Pau’u and others returned and the Nacua brothers transferred in. This Milne and ZW were hardly missed. TE. Rex returned and Holker was in shape. FB. Wake returned.

OL lost some guys but had experienced depth returning. This is the only place that suggested - minor depth issue.

This simply was not the case on defense and then injuries piled on top of a rebuilding season.
