So maybe recruiting wasn't the problem, maybe too many guys got delusions of
grandeur and it messed up our defensive depth in 2021. I am too lazy to look into it but it seems plausible.

Not sure. We lost nearly all offensive production to the NFL from 2020-2021. They did ok.
