As the old story goes I got asked to a girl's choice high school dance by a girl I didn't consider attractive and had no interest in. Being a nice guy I said yes. We doubled with a friend of mine and his girlfriend. My friend's girlfriend was pretty attractive and I was reasonably good friends with her. I thought me and her would make a much better combination than her and my friend.

Anyway, I survived the dance. Afterwards we went to my friend's house to watch a movie. I can't remember the name of the movie but it had lots of big rig trucks and CB lingo. The other couple started making out almost immediately and kept going through the whole movie. I sat with my hands folded in my lap and my eyes glued to the TV for the entire length of that crappy movie.
