At a regional church dance in the 80's, the DJ put on Madonna's "Like a Virgin."

It was funny to see every single adult in the gym descend upon the stage at breakneck speed to shut it down.

All DJs were given guidance on what can and can't be played, and I believe there are specific popular songs of the day on an "excluded" list. That song was definitely on the excluded list.
