Correct. They play 8 conference games.
Pac-12 plays 9 conference games so they don’t get the extra OOC game. Not saying I don’t wish every conference played the same amount of conference games.
I’m just saying it’s more difficult to win 5 straight conference P12 games in a row to start, just as it was for BYU to win 5 straight P5 games. It’s not a knock on BYU- just that you have to be a very very good team to win 5 straight P5 games in a row
