All good questions. That's something they should have but it isn't unusual
for companies to trust their reps more than they should. Absence of those procedures doesn't prove they are complicit or know that-- it certainly might prove they are not sufficiently careful. This is a problem anyone who runs a sales-based call center where people take credit cards can struggle with at times.
