For 1/3rd of their life should be compensated for that labor with enough money to not rely on tax payer funded assistance or charity to survive.
I believe most people can do better and will do better in their life.
If the girl in the totally true story is fulfilling the requirements of her job to the satisfaction of her supervisor, she should retain her employment.
My contention is that there is a level of labor that is necessary for a business to function but is so menial that a person should be paid less than is necessary to survive without taxpayer money subsidizing their existence if they did that job full time.
