Didn't know was wrong while everyone was trying to explain it... we can move on to the next thing. Stop pretending Grimes wasn't cutting it. Stop with the silly article. In no way at all does it suggest Grimes wasn't any good. This staff has always been collaborative.
If there's something fans exaggerate, it's anything to do with "play calling." This staff had a TON of playcalling experience. When they name people RGC or PGC, they're working in collaboration to have eyes on specific parts of the game and recommend what to do based on what they're seeing.
Why would plays open up over time? Because your personnel group gets more experienced and better. Are you seriously going to judge 2018 and 2020 the same? One with loads of veteran experience and one without? Something that drastically changes how you call the game.
If someone is crazy enough to say Grimes wasn't good early but was later, you have to also claim that Zach was the same player as a freshman as he was a junior. That the 2018 OL with mostly freshmen, was the same as 2020, e.t.c.
