Yeah, it's called a counter-offer. And the logistics of our counter-offer made
way more sense for everyone involved than their original offer.
Nothing about saying no to an offer to be a contingency plan with a team that was still actively trying to schedule other games and was contractually bound to back out of the game if another team in the conference needed an opponent says "difficult to work with" unless you're an imbecile.
