The beef you eat generally is coming confined to a small area (less than 500 acres) where it grazes and gets fat. Then is herded into a truck, taken to a slaughter house and likely killed with aforementioned technology (a single shot to the head/ sometimes it is a pressurized steel point).
Then it is aged in a huge walk in cooler, again with technology, then shipped with a reefer to your local butcher who then wraps it up and puts it on a refrigerated shelf, so you can walk by on your self phone and snatch up a prime cut.
Your concern about fairness and use of modern weapons and technology rings awfully hollow.
To me you inability to understand simply stems from you're blissful ignorance or just your flat refusal to think it through.
