here's what we do know...
....a number of players on the team last year made marked improvements in their overall play from the year before but more specifically shooting the 3ball. As a matter of fact, the only returning player who didn't improve his 3pt percentage from last year to this year was Zac Seljaas. Everyone else made very significant improvement.

Yoeli went from 32.3% to 48.9% and increased his scoring from 21.2 to 22.2 despite playing 5 minutes a game less (dang!)
Haws went from 35.2% to 37.1%
Harding went from 30.9% to 44.7%
Nixon went from 6.3% to 38.1% (dang!)
Lee went from 25.0% to 50% and improved his scoring from 1.4 pts a game to 7.0 and during the time Yoeli was out he was one of BYU's leading scorers.

I think another improvement indicator is the trend that was developing of BYU's best returning player skipping his senior year to go play ball in Europe rather than stay and develop his game for a try at the NBA. Getting Yoeli to break that trend when he was all but gone was a big deal. Getting a 4 star top 100 player like AB to transfer from AZ to BYU was a big deal. Getting a 7'3" giant to transfer from the Big 10 to the WCC to play at BYU was a big deal. Adding depth with transfers who will be impact players this coming season like Harward and Lowell will be big deals (we'll just have to wait and see on that).
