Spec up a Windows machine to the same specs and quality and the MacBook competes on price; but there are some cheap Windows laptops out there that have good "specs" but they are built with cheap parts, You'll be lucky if those cheap laptops last two years — while the specs are good, the case will be cheap plastic, the hinges will be poor quality; just made with poor quality parts to give you the great specs at a cheap price.
