It's hard to see how they get out of this mess. They're not essential, their reputation is in the toilet, and they're not going to be setting sail for months, at the very least. Worse still, they've been flying flags of convenience for decades so they don't have to pay U.S. taxes. A lot of people are going to rightfully suggest they go to Barbados or Panama to ask for their bailouts. And it's not like the country is going to be flush with cash anyway; hard decisions will have to be made.
Some cruising will eventually come back, I'd imagine, but bankruptcy will wipe out current shareholders.
