A foul, sure. But it is definitely a basketball play. Big guy in the paint in a
zone defense is going to get bodied up. Taught at every level. It was not as bad as it looked. Pet fell over (maybe because he didn't know Hawes was coming?), and Hawes immediately ran to block a three.
Had Pet remained standing, and Hawes remained guarding him, nobody would have 2nd guessed anything about the play...
