Please. He knew exactly what the rule was and what the consequence was for
breaking the rule. It's posted all over, in every clubhouse, but Rose thought he was bigger than the game.
MLB should put Joe Jackson in the HOF (what Jackson did, knowing about gambling but not actually gambling, was way less significant than Rose), and then wait exactly how many years after Jackson died to put him in the HOF and then put Rose in the same number of years after he dies. Rose deserves every bit of what he got.

Rose never bet on his own team, and while I understand he broke the rules it isn't like he was living in the modern
