Additionally, statistically, you're MUCH more likely to go on a mission and/or
remain active in the church if you go to BYU. Way way way more likely to become ex/anti if you to to Utah. So while the coaches are supportive of missions, it's disingenuous to say you can "get the BYU experience" at Utah. There are openly hostile/anti Mormon profs at the U. The atmosphere is very different and that's why so many kids leave the church while getting their education at the u and/or opt out of serving missions.
