to a P5 school, or say they are "committed" to a P5 school, their ratings go up like 1/2 a star on average. If they commit to a smaller program, their ratings go down. Every year it is the same thing.
Month 1. "Kid 1 is by far the 5* best QB in the West. He is being courted by Stanford, Utah, USC, BYU, UCLA and others"
Month 2 . "Kid 1 is a 5* player and still by far the best QB in the West. He has limited his list to USC, Stanford and BYU"
Month 3. "Kid 1 is one of the top 4-5 QBs in the West and is a solid 4* player. He recently committed to BYU"
Who cares about rankings. Our problem on this team isn't talent, far from it. It is from a lack of good coaching and kids executing.
