Yoeli's problem was not Pope. It was the S&C coach and/or Yoeli's fault for not being properly hyrdrated.
Besides Haws, there is no player on the team that can create their own shot. Haws fouled out. No one else has the ability to drive. Hence the jump shots. That is a product of the talent on the team and not the coaching.
We have seen Toolson take the last show already this year and it was a disaster. Now, I do with that Pope would have run some sort of motion to create a shot rather than a straight one on one play, but I go get the call. Motion increases the risk of a turnover in a bad spot and not getting the last shot.
