than throwing the ball or running with it. Looking defenders off the ball. Selling the fake on play action. Leadership. And, yes, making the throws and running. I went back to USF and USU. Romney had some nice throws including deep throws, moved the chains, and had some nice runs - admittedly does not run like Hall. I initially dismissed those figuring USF was probably in prevent, but he even had a deep completion in there.
I am not claiming Romney is the next great one. We simply do not know. I am not claiming one way or the other with Hall. We simply do not know. And even though Wilson reminded me of Jim McMahon last season, this season he came back looking less sharp and making poor decisions instead of stepping up a level. Sophomore slump? Not fully healed? Not enough practice? IDK. Now his hand is injured. How will that play out. I am just saying do not assume anything, ditto Hall, ditto Romney and play whomever coaches think matches up best with USU and evaluate from there.
