but athletic talent, and hence recruiting, is more determinant. As I said, athletic talent is neccessary but not sufficient. And I gave two examples to help illustrate, UCLA/BYU and Lou Holz relative success. UCLA with some questionable coaching but superior athletes prevails over acknowledged great coaching (Lavelle Edwards) but lesser athletic talent over the long run.
