I disagree. Score matters most. But why don’t you look at points per drive then?
Tennessee had 10 drives in regulation and scored 16 points.

Allowing 1.6 points per drive means the pace is irrelevant. Our defense is doing what it needs to.

Our offense last year scored 2.32 points per drive.

If the offense doesn’t gift the opponent points and 30-yard fields, they only have to play like they did last year.
