narrative of TH for some time, and it's hard for him to "Backtrack" on that except to say he's "happy" for TH now. Fact is, TH was running for his life a lot of the time at BYU, contributing to int's and inaccuracies, and hampered by injuries (not fully healed, and not even close to ideal weight his senior year, with butterfinger receivers to boot). And, there is actually no one can "read a D" while running his your life - NO ONE - not even the best NFL QB's in history.
Still, when healthy and with good protection and supportive cast, TH was ALWAYS amazing to watch, and exuded pro potential whenever healthy, especially all the intangibles. Backcountry was never kind to TH his senior year, and very negative on TH's future (injury-prone, inaccurate, not as good as Tanner). What he should do now is just eat crow, rather than making excuses, and trying to change the narrative to something about TH going from a really bad QB "before," to a better QB now. TH was always great! And Backcountry was always a bad judge of a good QB!
