their 3 star WRs all to the NFL with hardly anything behind them. They've lost 3 RBs to transfer. They just recently lost their starting C and now only have 2 returning starters on the OL. They're not going to be last year's team. They have the ability to plug n play, but you can't simply plug n replace that quickly at a MAC school. Their QB had a concussion and a season ending injury, so he's got to come back from that.
Their defense might be so bad it could really hurt their offense. This isn't 2016 Toledo, and it's not even last year's Toledo. Having to jump on a plane doesn't make them tougher than Boise State. It doesn't even make them tougher than SDSU right now.
Twice as hard as the USU game? That's nonsense. I get that they might have the capability to put up some points. But don't forget that USU actually has a good defense that was #2 in the nation in turnovers, and they're probably as good as any MAC school at finding guys to plug in at skill positions.
