Yep, if Kaufusi & AhYou are starters it’s going to take time to get coming back
From injury and mission respectively but once they do gel, we will be good and deep

On AFR Fowler said he believes each position group on the team will be better

Hmm. I guess Mudpupper kind of hit a similar topic just below.

We lost Collie at WR... who else? Also I'd say the Takitaki lost drops the LBers

Pau'u. You may be right about the LBers

The loss of one person doesn't necessarily make an entire unit worse.

I think they'll be better with Wilson for 13 games than they were last year.

Maybe it's fairer to just look at the offensive units with Wilson on the field.

The loss of Holker and Collie is greater than the improvements

& Pau'u? I hope you're right - I just think it's prob about a wash for the WRs.

Other than Holker BYU misses nothing.

Agree on Romney, with one exception.

Adrada will have to beat press coverage. He's small to count on for that.
Lance71
8/12/19 5:41pm
He's no smaller than a hundred other successful receivers out there.
Lip Gallagher
8/12/19 6:22pm
Yes he is. I was talking about success this year though. Unless he has a knack
Lance71
8/12/19 7:08pm
Obviously this year is a challenge. He's a true freshman who played QB.
Lip Gallagher

His profile has him at 5'11" 180 pounds.

I might agree except that this year we will be actually throwing

I am struggling to believe LB will be better.

Yeah, Takitaki was a major disruptive force

Lack of experience and size at LB is a big concern.
DadBod

DE and LB seem like the biggest possibilities.

Zayne Anderson was very good last year when healthy
baldcoug74
8/12/19 10:32pm
Possibly the LBs. Everything else looks better.

DE?

DE looks about the same, slightly better.

Without Kaufusi?

It will be replaced collectively

Devin is way behind what Corbin was last year.
byubyu
8/12/19 4:55pm
Yes but last year it was just Corbin pass rushing
puntersarepeople
8/12/19 4:57pm
But the interior DL should be way ahead. That means a ton to DE success
Lip Gallagher
8/12/19 5:04pm
DE might be worse (probably only slightly) but the D line is definitely better
puntersarepeople
8/12/19 5:43pm
I think this is probably true. I think it will be harder to run on you this year
displacedute
8/12/19 5:48pm
If it’s as good as last years we’ll still have a strong defense
puntersarepeople
8/12/19 6:01pm
Any Utah fan should know that a ton of the success Utah's DEs and pass
Lip Gallagher

LBs and Defensive backfield. We are very thin there.
Archaea
8/12/19 6:05pm
We're deeper than we've been in decades at DB, not thin.
Lip Gallagher

I'm sure he did
