Yeah, I've found that otherwise normal, respectable people get lost in hatred
when it comes to BYU (or maybe even sports in general) and become irrational.
I had an otherwise great guy jump all over me in a bishopric meeting once. He was a Utah fan and went nuts after I mentioned something regarding BYU... I think it regarded Jabari Parker. It was very strange.
I try to not be that way, but I also recall when I threw snowballs from my seats in Rice Stadium's south end zone toward Utah fans sitting in seats in the east end zone who were throwing snowballs at BYU players on the field.
It was a jerk move on my part, but I blame it on my youth. I think I was still in my 20s and a bit of a moron.
