Michigan-Dearborn should never be referred to as Michigan (or UM).
Neither should someone need to say Michigan-Ann Arbor. There is one 'Michigan'

BYU-Idaho should never be referred to as BYU
Neither should someone need to say BYU-Provo. There is one 'BYU'
