More than any other character, he’s lost his support group and family. His father is dead, his mother was murdered, his brother was killed before his eyes, he left his sister to perish on Asgard, his best friend was also killed before his eyes, and his lady friend is gone. Unlike Hawkeye, none of his family deaths will be undone with a snap.
