I stopped caring about what was cool when I left high school.
I’m too old now to worry about impressing people with fashion. I’ll wear my cargo shorts and Birkenstock’s (no socks tho- that crossing a line) and not think twice.
Plus- I’m not comfortable in what’s “cool” now. The short guy shorts that stop 5 inches above the knee and only come in pastel colors...not for me.
