All-American
Needs to be defined. Pedro was the most dominant at his best.
If you throw in longevity, Kershaw or Maddox.
If you’re talking postseason, especially the WS, it’s Bumgarner.

Definitely the best in his prime. His prime was shorter than all of the others t

Lol, not even close to the best in his prime. Pedro, Johnson, and Koufax all had 2 seasons better

Oh. Cool.

I would put Nolan Ryan on your list before I put Dwight Gooden on there

Good call.

He also had one of the worst walk rates of all time. Too wild to be considered the best. The 7 no-nos are incredible,

Yup. Great pitcher. Doesn't rank super well on the rate stats.

That’s kind of like complaining Ty Detmer threw too many interceptions
StantonMac
4/20/19 7:44am
Not really. It’s one of the main reasons why he lost so many games.

The only argument for Maddux over Pedro (or anyone else) is longevity.

I like Pedro, where would you put Mariano Rivera on the list.
RC Vikings

Wouldn’t even include Mo in the conversation because his job was so much easier than a Starting Pitcher’s

Pedro dominated like no one else at the height of the steroid era
Josef K

Pedro sucked in the clutch...which was good for the yankees

He wasn’t as bad as people want to make out. Postseason ERA: Maddux- 3.27 Pedro- 3.46
TCuz
4/20/19 10:27am
Yeah, it's clearly Kershaw or Pedro

How is this a debate between anyone but GIBSON and KOUFAX??? This is insane.

Clemens was incredible but he has the same taint to him that Bonds has for roids

Clemens was already incredible prior to steroids. Steroids just gave him a
